    Summary

    Yannick joined Nokia in June 2004 in Johannesburg, South Africa to manage handset distribution within the sub-Saharan African continent. During his careers at Nokia and previously at Gemplus – a smart card manufacturer, Yannick has been working and leaving in more than 11 EMEA countries and was until December 2011 in charge of Nokia Ecosystem and Developer relation in Eurasia, based in Moscow – Russia. With more than 15 years’ experience in the telecom & technology sector within EMEA region, Yannick’s role sees him direct an European team charged with engaging developers to create great, locally relevant apps. The role of Yannick and his team, further than technical support for apps creation, is to make developers successful in turning Apps into business. Thanks to an active merchandizing and editorial content management on Nokia and Marketplace apps store they generate a positive ROI for the developer, and support Nokia’s mission to provide consumers with differentiated mobile products. Prior to his developer’s relationship role, Yannick was in charge of Nokia Direct Business to consumer channels in Eurasia and rolled out and managed a network of more than 150 Nokia physical Branded Retails stores, e-commerce shop and Nokia corners in multi branded stores in Russia and Turkey
